Victorian Institute of Sport’s Anabelle Smith completed her consistent FINA Diving World Series on the top of the podium, taking gold with partner Maddi Keeney in London last week.
This gold medal means that Smith has won a medal at every stop of the series, which started in Japan, then through China, Canada, and Russia.
Smith says that this gold medal was a “dream come true.”
“We have worked so hard to push the boundaries of women’s springboard and it paid off.” Smith said.
“What a month, and what a series! To come away with 5/5 medals makes everything worth it.”
Smith’s 3m Syncro medal year:

Bejing, China SILVER (300.93)
Montreal, Canada BRONZE (303.39)
Kazan, Russia SILVER (283.98)
