Para Sport Unit

The VIS Para Sport Unit is designed to support Victorian Para athletes from grassroots to elite levels, ultimately increasing Australia’s representation and medal prospects at major Para events.

A game-changer for Victoria’s Paralympic future, the Para Sport Unit is delivered in partnership with the Australian Sports Commission (ASC) and Paralympics Australia (PA) and supports a coordinated, national approach to reduce barriers for participation and talent identification.

We’re seeking talented Victorian athletes aspiring to compete at the Los Angeles 2028 or Brisbane 2032 Paralympic Games, or the French Alps 2030 Winter Paralympic Games.
