Performance Analyst - Para Table Tennis & Paralympic Projects

Description

The VIS are looking for a dynamic and passionate high performance professional to join its team in the role of Performance Analyst for Para Table Tennis & Paralympic Projects. This position will be working with the Lead Performance Analyst (Paralympic) and delivering support to Para Table Tennis and other identified projects. The position will primarily be based at the VIS headquarters in Melbourne’s Albert Park and Paralympics Australia offices at Tullamarine. 

To be successful in this role, you should have had extensive experience working as a performance analyst with high performance athletes and a proven ability working within an interdisciplinary team environment. Proven experience using Sportscode and other technology platforms is essential. The successful applicant will also need to possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, sound organisational and planning skills and attention to detail, and the ability to problem solve and provide solutions that will positively impact performance.  

Essential Requirements

  • Sport Science degree
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Current Victorian Working with Children Check (must be in place before employment commences)
  • Current First Aid 
  • ESSA Accredited Sports Scientist Level 1

Desirable Criteria

  • Post Graduate Sport Science degree 
  • ESSA Accredited Sports Scientist Level 2
