Victorian Institute of Sport athletes Kathryn Mitchell, Jo Deng, Peter Bol and Jordy Williams have brought home some recent success on the European stage.
At the Bislett Games, Kathryn Mitchell showed why she is one of the world’s best javelin throwers by launching 56.07m to take the win by over 3 metres in Oslo.
Meanwhile middle distance runner Joseph Deng finished in 8th place in the men’s 800m with a time of 1:48.79.
In Poland at the Euro Athletics Permit meet in Bydgoszcz, Peter Bol ran a season best time of 1:46.10 in the 800m.
Over in Nijmegen in the Netherlands, Jordy Williamsz made a strong return from injury by finishing 8th in the 1500m in a time of 3:39.19.
