The Asia Pacific Bowls Championships were held on the Gold Coast last week, and saw some impressive performances from our VIS contingent.
VIS athletes Barrie Lester & Carla Krizanic competed at the 5 day international competition, making it all the way through to finals.
Krizanic played in the Women’s Fours qualifying for the semi-finals but unfortunately going down to Malaysia and finishing in third place.
Lester competed in the Men’s Triple’s team, who defeated Trans-Tasman rivals New Zealand in the hotly contested final.
