VIS’ David Micheluzzi gets set to take on the golfing world in September after he was selected in a 3-man Australian team to play at the World Amateur Teams Championships in Ireland.
Micheluzzi will play alongside teammates Min Woo Leee and Shae Wools-Cobb as they chase Australia’s fifth Men’s World Team title from September 5-8.
Micheluzzi has had a summer to remember with a number of victories to his name including the Australian Master of the Amateurs and Victoria’s successful Interstate Series title defence.
“To be on this team is an absolute honour and to represent your country in anything is awesome, I can’t wait," he said.
In other golf news, VIS’ Brett Coletta finished in a tie for fourth place on the Canadian Tour last week with a final score of 19 under.
