Frey appointed Shooting Performance Support Manager — Victorian Institute of Sport

We are pleased to announce that Nicky Frey has been appointed as the new VIS/ Shooting Australia (SA) Shooting Performance Support Manager.

Nicky comes to us from Athletics Australia (AA) where she worked as the Athlete Performance Advisor alongside their Performance Director and National Coach.

In her role at AA, Nicky's primary responsibility was to lead conversations between athletes, coaches and performance support staff around the development, monitoring and evaluation of individual performance plans that were geared towards athletes delivering peak performances at benchmark events.

A key strength for Nicky is her ability to form strong connections with people from diverse backgrounds from across the high performance sporting sector. This will serve her well as she joins the Shooting team during the next phase of its evolution towards becoming a truly world class program.

Nicky will be based at the VIS and will travel to wherever the critical conversations are being had and will formally commence her new role with VIS/SA on 28 May 2018.
