Milestone Result for Coletta

VIS golfer, Brett Coletta, has secured his first result of the US PGA Tour. The VIS athlete managed to finish with his first T25 finish in the Memorial Tournament in Ohio over the weekend.

Despite rain delays affecting play, Coletta gave an impressive performance with rounds of 72-69-72-73 on one of the most prestigious courses on the American circuit.

Coletta will now head north of the border to Vancouver Island, Canada, to make his Mackenzie Tour debut.

Over on the other side of the world, VIS golfer David Micheluzzi had a successful weekend at the Scottish Strokeplay Championship at Western Gailes.

David Micheluzzi finished tied 3rd at 279 with Craig Howie after hitting rounds of 67-68-69-75 in an impressive performance. Micheluzzi was in contention for the title under eventual tournament winner Liam Johnston who began to pull away in the final nine holes to finish on 275.
