Hamilton rides to silver

Lucas Hamilton has secured yet another podium finish with the Australian U23 team, finishing 2nd to teammate Michael Storer at the one day Gran Premio Industrie del Marmo event in Italy over the weekend.

The Australian team’s 1-2 finish is their fourth win of an impressive European cycling season.

Meanwhile back on home soil, Riley Hart won the U19 Men’s Time Trial at the U19 Mersey Valley Tour.

The Tour doubled as the U19 World Junior road selection event, which also saw VIS cyclist, Tom Jones, finish 4th in the Australian and New Zealand field in both of his road race events over the weekend. Amongst the Australian riders, Jones finished 2nd on Saturday and backed up his performance on Sunday to finish 3rd.
