Scotty James wins silver at US Open

Scotty James qualified for the Burton US Open final at the top of the leader board but wasn’t able hold off fast finishing Olympic hero, Shaun White.

James begun the final event of the season with the highest-scoring first run of 82.87 points however defending champion Shaun White went back-to-back with a score of 92.74 points in his second run.

"So many legends have won this event, it's got so much history and it's one that all us snowboarders love coming to" James said.

This concludes an excellent season to date for James, bursting onto the scene with victories at the Winter X Games in January and the PyeongChang Olympic test event in February.
