Sharks snatch narrow victory

The Aussie Sharks have fought back from the defeat in the first test to snatch a narrow 10-9 over the home side Germany overnight.

After a dominating first half from the Aussies, the home side were not going to give up too easily and fought back to level the scores 9-9 with one minute to go.

In the dying seconds Aaron Younger (WAIS) swam the length of the pool and score the winning goal for the Sharks.

In the first of two test match Series, the Aussie Sharks recorded a narrow 10-9 defeat.

VIS athletes Lachlan Edwards, Blake Edwards and James Stanton French are members of the Aussie Sharks squad for the European training tour.

Germany was the first stop for the Australian Men’s Water Polo Team as part of the European Training tour which is part of their preparations for the Rio 2016 Olympics.
