Championship player, Kate Eddy returns with the Melbourne Vixens.

Kate Eddy is a Victorian born and bred netball talent, progressing through the Netball Victoria pathway. She has adapted her game style over the past seasons able to swing between goal circle defence and midcourt defence.

Her career highlights to date include winning a National Netball Championship with the Victorian 17/U team, an Australian Netball League title with the Victorian Fury, playing for both Ariels and Boroondara in the Victorian Netball League, and being named as vice captain of the Australian Netball World Youth Cup team, which took home the silver medal in Botswana in 2017. Most recently however was her championship with the Vixens in 2020.

No stranger to the Vixens environment, Eddy was a squad member with the Melbourne Vixens in 2017, before being contracted by the NSW Swifts for the 2018 and 2019 seasons of Suncorp Super Netball.
