Tell us about your life after your time as an athlete at the VIS?

Busy raising kids, building a business and making cabinets.

What is your proudest sporting achievement?

I'm really proud of the three Paralympic Games that I competed in. My first was Rio 2016, then I won bronze in Tokyo 2020 in the T20 long jump and came sixth in Paris, by which point I was 31 years old with three kids and my own business. 

What is your proudest moment outside of sport?

I was awarded the Variety Children’s Charity Youth Ambassador in 2011.

What is the most valuable lesson you learnt during your time at the VIS?

Perseverance and gratitude make a happy and whole life. They are not feelings but habits.
