Scotty James named Australia's flag bearer

VIS snowboarder, Scotty James, led the Australian team with pride in the opening ceremony of the PyeongChang Winter Olympic Games on Friday night.

23-year-old James admitted that when he was announced as Australia’s flag bearer, he was all smiles.

"When I found out, I was over the moon, I was lost for words and then it really came to me that something amazing had just happened." He said.

Joining James are his five VIS team mates; Lydia Lassila (Freestyle), Danielle Scott (Freestyle), Laura Peel (Freestyle), Samantha Wells (Freestyle) and David Morris (Freestyle).
