Third place for Wallwork

VIS BMX Freestyle rider Jake Wallwork took out third place at the inaugural Oceania Freestyle BMX Championships on Saturday at Rampfest Indoor Skate park in Melbourne’s inner west.
With critical qualification points for the Tokyo Olympic Games on offer, all of Australia's highest-ranked riders were on hand to push for the top spot.
Wallwork left it until his final run of the day after crashing out on his first. With the finals as a “Best Run Counts” format, it was his last chance to impress the judges.
His run featured a no-handed front flip, a barspin flail (Front Flair), and finished with a huge transfer across a 20ft section of the course that no one else even looked at.
"I’m pumped I landed my run, I’ve been eyeing up that transfer for a while, I’m glad I could put it all together and take home another podium at my home park,” said Wallwork.
