JAMES GOES MASSIVE AT LAAK HALFPIPE WORLD CUP
VIS snowboarder Scotty James is looking unstoppable this snow season, with another astounding victory – this time at the Laax Open (Switzerland) on Saturday night.
The Victorian Institute of Sport athlete put down what must be the run of the year. He kicked things off with a score of 95.75, which easily got him over the line for his first victory at Laax, and his second World Cup win of the season.
“The Laax Open was an event I’ve wanted to win for a while, and to do it under the lights in front of all these fans makes it extra special,” James said,
“I’ve been working on that run for a while and it’s nice to put it all together.”
Ski and Snowboard Australia has unveiled the Australian team who will compete at the 2019 World Para Alpine Skiing Championships beginning 21 January.
