The VIS facility Tour provides schools, community groups,sporting groups and corporate organisation with the opportunity to tour the VIS facilities at the Lexus Centre, Olympic Park.

The tour runs for approximatley 90 minutes with 1 hour spent touring the VIS facility.  The tour concludes with a 30 minutes motivational presentation from a VIS athlete or VIS staff member, who generally run the tour.  The main areas of the tour are:

VIS History
Athlete Services
Sport Science
Physical Preparation
Gymnasium

The tour can be altered to cater for specific interests of an organisation (ie. Sport Science).

Tour Dates and Times
Tours can be requested for Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.  Requests are dependent upon facility availability.

Group Sizes
Group Sizes for the tour are limited to a maximum of 30 people.  Group sizes larger than this can be difficult to control.  With schools, and  other youth groups, it is compulsory for a teacher or minder to be present  and reponsible for the behaviour of the group throughout the duration of the tour.

Cost
The tours are run at a standard cost of $385 (inc GST) per group.

Tour Rules
In order for the Facility Tour to run smoothly and effectively, we ask that all participants adhere to the following rules during the tour:

No Cameras (still, digital or mobile phone), video recording equipment, or other recording devices are allowed
Participants are to remain quiet, except to ask questions at appropriate times
Participants are to walk in an orderly fashion in the direction of the tour, ans are not allowed to wander away from the group
Participant are not allowed to touch or play with any equipment unless otherwise instructed
Participants found to be rude or dispruptive will be excluded for the remainder of the tour
