What is Sports Medicine?
Sports Medicine plays a major role in illness and injury prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of all VIS athletes. Sports Medicine focuses on the clinical aspects of an athletes’ physical and mental well being. Dr Peter Harcourt coordinates the program and is a resident doctor along with Dr Anik Shawdon, Dr Greg Hickey and Dr Sandra Mejak. Sports Medicine services are available Tuesday afternoons, Wednesday mornings, Thursday and Friday.
