Harradine breaks record

VIS athlete Benn Harradine has broken his own Australian discus record to place second at the Continental Cup in Split, Croatia. Harradine's throw of 66.45m signals that his peak for the Commonwealth Games is right on target.
Other notable results from the Continental Cup for VIS athletes were Jarrod Bannister's fourth in the javelin with a throw of 79.99m and Scott Martin's fourth in the shot put with a season's best performance of 20.10m.
