Bronze medal in Table Tennis Championships
29 July 2010
VIS table tennis athlete, Sarah Lazzaro has defied critics to take out the bronze medal at the 2010 Taipei International Table Tennis Championships.
At only 16 years of age, Lazzaro defeated a number of seasoned international campaigners to finish on the dais.
After impressing in the singles, Lazzaro now shifts her focus to the team event, where she will combine with fellow VIS athlete Rebecca Julian. Lazzaro and Julian are no strangers, after competing together in Beijing.
Lazzaro’s career in Table Tennis is showing no signs of slowing, after she won the under 18 title in the able-bodied country championships earlier this year.
