Angela Donald to compete at Youth Olympic Games
10 August 2010
Following her recent successes at the Pre-Olympic Youth Cup in Germany and the 2010 National Championships in Perth, Angela Donald was named to represent Australia at the Youth Olympic Games. The Games, which are to be held in Singapore from the 14th – 26th of August, will bring together around 3,600 athletes across 26 sports.
Angela departs Australia for Singapore on the 12th August, after attending a camp in Sydney. Angela has been training extremely hard in the lead up to the Games, and her coaches are confident in her abilities and attitude. This is a fantastic opportunity for Angela to get her first taste of Olympic competition, and we wish her all the very best for the event.
