Kleinschmidt finding the back of the net consistently

Monday, 09 April 2018

VIS’ Aaron Kleinschmidt has helped his Australian Kookaburras team to an undefeated run, finding the back of the net in both of their matches.

The mighty Kookaburras flexed their muscles in the GC2018 men’s hockey competition, defeating a valiant Scottish team 6-1. The Kookas dominated from the start, scoring two quick goals in two minutes, and although the Scots fought bravely they were ultimately outclassed by a superior team.

The result gives Australia two wins from two games, they next face Canada on Tuesday 10 April.

VIS’ Emily Hurtz and Madi Ratcliffe are close to scoring their first goals for the Hockeyroos firing ten shots at goal. Whilst Lynch is doing well in the goals, keeping a clean sheet to date and played an influential role in securing Australia’s 1-0 victory over Canada.

The Hockeyroos made it two from two after defeating Commonwealth Games debutants Ghana under lights at the Gold Coast Hockey Centre. The Roos overcame a gallant Ghanaian team to keep their unblemished Commonwealth campaign intact with a 5-0 win.
