| Position Description |
 |
The Sport Science Co-ordinator will:
Lead, design and co-ordinate the delivery of applied sport science services as part of a multi disciplinary approach to VIS athletes and sports programs
Explore innovative, performance focussed solutions and monitoring delivered to athletes in their daily training environment
Provide “cutting edge” service delivery in their area of expertise and discipline to coaches and athletes

Based at the VIS headquarters in Melbourne’s Olympic Park, this senior role oversees the VIS sport science program; this program is responsible for the delivery of applied sport science services within a multi-disciplinary framework to VIS athletes and sports programs in an innovative, performance focused way.

To be successful in this role, you will have at least seven years experience working as a sport scientist with high performance athletes and proven experience working within an integrated/multi-disciplinary program environment. To complement your experience, you will also need to be appropriately qualified in a relevant sport science area.
