Young-gun triathletes perform well in Tahiti

VIS triathletes Marcel Walkington and Joel Tobin-White travelled to Tahiti to compete in ITU Sprint Triathlon Oceania Cup.

Despite the beauty of the surroundings, it was tough racing conditions for the young Australians coming from a cold winter straight into 28-30 degree temperatures with 90% humidity. Despite this, the VIS athletes raced exceptionally well, with Walkington finishing third and Tobin-White finishing sixth.

Both triathletes will represent Australia at the upcoming World Championships in Auckland and this race was a great hit out for them both.
