Diamonds shine in Adelaide

The Australian Diamonds have made a winning start to their 2012 Holden Netball Quad Series campaign with a 64 – 40 victory over England in Adelaide.

The Diamonds put a hesitant start behind them with a dominant third quarter, outscoring the visitors by nine goals to record a first up win in the four nations tournament.

VIS athlete Madison Browne performed strongly in the mid-court, whilst Bianca Chatfield had a huge impact as goal keeper; the VIS scholarship holder was awarded player of the match for her defensive effort.
