Head to Federation Square from 11.30am on Wednesday 22 August 2012, to meet and interact with Australia’s Olympians returning from the London 2012 Games!

‘This is a wonderful opportunity for Victorians to meet and interact with our Olympians in person, and to show them how proud we are,’ Premier Ted Baillieu said.

‘In true Australian spirit our athletes have done their absolute best, and we have been proud to cheer them on,’ he added.

The event provides a unique opportunity for Victorians to meet the athletes and hear about their Olympic experience. Athletes will also be available for photographs and to sign autographs.

‘I’m sure there will be all the anticipation and excitement of the Olympics’ at Federation Square, especially for young Victorians who hope to be part of the Australian team at future Olympics,’ Mr Baillieu said.  

Bring your friends, your camera and something to get signed and join us as Victoria welcomes home the 2012 Olympic Team! Activities from 11:30am through to 1:30pm.
