Best wishes from the Chairman

On behalf of the Victorian Institute of Sport Board following their meeting last week, I have been asked to pass on our best wishes to all VIS athletes, coaches, staff and officials who are representing Australian at the London 2012 Olympics.

It takes a ‘village’ to prepare an athlete to compete for their country and everyone at the VIS should be proud of the contribution they have made to ensuring our athletes can achieve their best performances in London.

After years of preparation and sacrifices our athletes now have the chance to shine. We’re sure they will wear the green and gold with honour and pride.

The Board joins every Victorian and Australian to cheer on our Aussie team. Good luck.
