Brennan and Bonora London Bound

VIS gymnasts Ashleigh Brennan and Georgia Bonora have been selected for the 2012 London Olympics.

The pair will represent Australia in the Team Competition which begins on Day 2 of the Games, 29 July.

Brennan and Bonora made their Olympic debuts in Beijing and look to build upon the solid foundation they have laid. The pair assisted the team in Beijing to achieve its best ever Olympics result, finishing sixth in the team competition, while also placing 30^th and 13^th respectively in the individual competition.

 The VIS would like to congratulate Ashleigh and Georgia and wish them the best of luck in their quest for Olympic gold in London.

Travelling reserves are VIS Scholarship Holders; Georgia-Rose Brown and Mary-Anne Monckton.
